Klotho

Beyond its role as a fibroblast growth factor-23 co-receptor in mineral metabolism, a-Klotho has been associated with anti-aging functions, including, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic and tumor-suppressive actions. 

These research use only products have been cited in numerous scientific publications. A-Klotho has been measured in National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) samples. Researchers looked at relationships with a variety of conditions, including inflammation, cardiovascular disease, frailty and osteoarthritis with a-Klotho levels. Decreased blood klotho levels increase the risk of various aging-related diseases and frailty. Klotho is useful as a biomarker for various diseases and frailty. Exercise and dietary modifications can increase blood klotho levels, which may reduce the risk of aging-related diseases. Higher a-Klotho levels may be linked to healthier aging, though further research is needed.
